Google & Kazaa

I use Kazaa lite and I don't care who knows it! I mostly download crappy old songs and punk rock covers so it's not like I'm a really taking anything from the RIAA or anything (although if I could stand to listen to their bestselling artists, I might). I recently had to format a harddrive and found that the link I had to kazaalite didn't work! What? No more .tk? Not to fear, I figured I'd find it somewhere. Somewhere being Google. But, (scroll to the bottom) "In response to a complaint we received under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 4 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint for these removed results." came up with some search results that didn't contain what I was looking for.

This is hilarious to me. Instead of just removing the URLs, Google takes a stand (and this is why I love Google!) and not only says that they've been removed (they didn't have to do that, as a matter of fact just omitting these results would be easier) but directs you to the complaint so you can find them! Some of them don't work anymore. I assume Kazaa went after .tk too. Some of them do and I found my kazzaa lite that way.

I just love the way Google is basically telling Kazaa , "Bite me."
