RIAA: What they're after
I'm basically just reposting stuff I read on other sites because I'm cool like that {cough} but one site suggests that the RIAA is using certain songs as triggers to find users sharing music. I need to get Office installed so I can actally read Excel files (the link to the Excel file is at the bottom of the page) to see what garbage they're counting as music.

Woo! Here the list is in text form:

Sadly enough, Wham is on the list and I actually {embarassed shuffle} have a few Wham songs downloaded. "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" is a classic!
Duran is on it and I have the one song they listed. Ah hell, I have two the Madonna songs they listed and one Paula Abdul. My love for 80s cheese is going to bring me down!
On the other hand, people who download Ricky Martin deserve to be arrested.

Hmm, Nice artical. What I want to know is what the user name the RIAA uses when it downloads from the people.
I only downloaded one song on that entire list and that was actually a few years ago *g*.
And I already own a gazillion versions of HLTW that the thought of downloading another makes me sick to my stomach *g*. I should do it just to see if I get sued, woo!
